I completely agree with you! I have especially noticed this shopping in the states at the outlet shops. But i have also noticed there seems to be a cycle to the exclusivity. While our old time favourites (ala mini eggs) cannot be replaced, new brands in fashion are always becoming the new exclusive. As a brand like coach becomes more available to the masses, those that value exclusivity might move on to a new, more exclusive brand.

Another thought came to mind: in these economic times, these brands are probably making their products more available to the masses because they can&#039;t afford to stay exclusive. People just aren&#039;t spending the same money on luxuries anymore. 

That&#039;s my 2 cents!
